Fidget Designs will be out of commission for the year of 2008. I am leaving to return to school for one year. I have enjoyed working with everyone, particularly Meg and will be excited to return in 2009.

It has been a while but we are ready to get out and wow the world with some new products. We've added baby bibs, eye masks, gift tags and more to our collection. We will be at the Crave Crush event in Seattle the 3rd and 4th of this month. This is our first big event, although we are working with a smaller than ideal space. We hope to see some old faces and meet a lot of new.

At long last, my partner Megumi has married one of my closest friends. We have been away from the market but for good reason. On September 8th, 2007, Megumi Kaboto became Megumi Munford. It was amazing to say the least. But this little event has kept us busy with invitations, decorations and so much more. Needless to say we should be back in the game soon. We miss all the bright faces and look forward to seeing everyone soon.

Last week we did the market again and as a result we met a lot of cool people. If you are ever there, defiantly stop by to meet the baby blanket lady. She is a sweet heart and does great work. Another wonderful person we met was Brianna from Cake in University Place. She has placed our first order for a shop. That's right folks, we can now be found in stores! Fueled by this excitement we are now working harder than ever to come up with new and exciting products. We would love to get feedback on what you would like to see more of and what we can do to better serve you.

Today fidget finally posted it's first online products YEAH! One small step for terrified little craft girls everywhere. Our products can now be found at www.fidgetdesigns.etsy.com, but for those of you who still enjoy seeing us the old fashioned way, we will be giving the market another round this weekend. We look forward to meeting some new faces and hopefully seeing some old.

So it finally happened. We were peer pressured into getting a booth at the Freemont Market and although we didn't make much money we absolutely loved it. I can just see it now, my life savings going down the drain. But not to be pessimistic, we met lots of excited individuals who gave us great feedback on our wares which is inspiring in and of itself. Meg got her first fan mail from an amazing Australian named Jess, which has given us all motivation to forge forward with our products.
